IMMERSIÓ LINGÜÍSTICA EN ANGLÈS. ESTADA CAP DE SETMANA

Una altra novetat d'enguany ha estat l'organització d'un cap de setmana d'immersió lingüística  per oferir al professorat l'oportunitat de millorar la seva competència comunicativa en llengua anglesa. 

Ens han acompanyat Elaine, Margaret i Sache que ens han facilitat disposar d'un model lingüístic autèntic.

L'estada s'ha dut a terme al camp d'aprenentatge de Sa cala de Sant Vicent i al llarg de la mateixa hem realitzat tallers de música, teatre, jocs, natura i un concurs de coneixements generals.

Oral Skills

Enguany hem iniciat una nova modalitat formativa amb l'objectiu de potenciar les habilitats comunicatives en llengua anglesa entre el nostre professorat.

 Es tracta de la realització de  tallers on s'utilitza l'anglès com a llengua vehicular en la comunicació oferint l'oportunitat d'emprar la llengua en contextos reals.

El Taller d'Art ha consistit en la realització de dues sessions diferenciades: 

"Urban ART", impartit per Aida Miró i

  "Pottery Workshop" per Gerry Clark

EUROPEAN RESPONSES TO LEARN THROUGH ENGLISH; INITIATIVES, CHALLENGES AND SOLUTIONS

David Marsh opened the II APABAL Convention with an amazing lecture titled: 

European Responses to Learn through English; Initiatives, Challenges and Solutions

David Marsh has worked in multilingualism and bilingual education since 1980s. He was part  of the team which conducted groundwork leading to the launch of the term Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) in 1994. In 2002, he coordinated production of CLIL – The European Dimension: Actions, Trends and Foresight Potential for the European Commission (DG EAC). This overview of the situation in Europe was used in the compilation of the 2004– 2006 EC Action Plan: Promoting Language Learning & Linguistic Diversity. During 2008–2009 he coordinated an international research team (on behalf of the European Commission) examining the evidence available concerning the impact of multilingualism on the brain. He is currently acting as Strategic Director for CCN (Europe), and handles various educational development and research initiatives in the European Union and East Asia.
